Groundwork for iOS · Effective August 5, 2026

The short version

Groundwork collects no data. Not "minimal data" - none.

What the app stores

Everything you record - clubs, sessions, shots, notes - is stored in a local database on your device and nowhere else. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. The app makes no network requests of any kind: no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you choose to export it. The Export backup feature creates a JSON file of your data and hands it to the iOS share sheet; where that file goes is entirely your choice, and the app never sees it again.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes everything it stored. There is no copy anywhere else, so export a backup first if you want to keep your history.

Changes

If a future version of Groundwork ever changes any of this - for example, by adding an optional sync feature - this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the app will say so plainly.
