How the app works

The full method is inside the app: tap How this works on the home screen. In one paragraph: you grade every range ball with one tap (flush, playable, deep, or top), the app groups your swings into blocks - one club under one setup - and every number it computes carries its sample size and an honest confidence label. More features unlock as your own record can support them.

Backing up

Your data lives only on your phone. Use Export backup (on the How this works page, or at the bottom of Everything so far) to save a JSON file anywhere you like - AirDrop, Files, email. Deleting the app deletes everything, so export first.

Left-handed?

The first time the ball-position diagram appears you can choose right- or left-handed with one tap. You can change it any time at the bottom of Your bag.

Something broken or missing?

Email nmnslr@gmail.com and include what you tapped and what you expected. Groundwork is built and maintained by one person, so replies are human and may take a day or two.
